Travel Essential Items Every Girl Should Carry On

Here are the travel essentials every girl must carry-on! Read on to know them.

Travelling light being a girl is one of the most difficult tasks to have existed on planet earth, am I right? It is like you just have to carry your whole wardrobe with you every time you pack for a new trip, and that too, in one suitcase only. Every time you’re on a mission to stuff it all in, you envy your brother, father, or your husband as you see them breeze through the process of packing it all in, in one carry-on luggage.

You just don’t seem to find a fix for your woes, each time to sit down to get your baggage sorted. But, you don’t have to worry now, as we have created a list of all the must-haves that are easy on the suitcases too.

Travel Essentials To Prepare Girls For Their Next Trip

Before picking the things to fit in your suitcase, you need to see what your destination is. If you’re planning a trip to the cold or hot regions, then you need to pack accordingly.

The Must-Haves

First things first, if you’re travelling outside the country, then you need to have your passport and printed tickets with you. If you’re going somewhere inside Pakistan, then make sure you have your plane or bus tickets with you. More importantly, keep your wallet, credit/debit cards, and identification card in it.

Another travel must-have is your cellphone charger ( well, a girl gotta record the memories) and stay connected with her loved ones, use GPS for navigation purposes and so much more.

The Ones You Can Hand Carry

Well, a girl gotta keep some things in the carry-on bag because she could need them at any point during the bus/plane ride. Here’s what you must keep in your carryon bags:

  • A sanitiser ( gotta keep the C away)
  • A packet of face masks
  • Earplugs
  • Wet wipes – they always come in handy(!)
  • Pocket-sized moisturizer
  • Lip balm (it can get dry inside the vehicles)
  • A pack of gum (keeps you busy and comes to the rescue if you have motion sickness)
  • An atomizer (the air can get stinky or uncomfortable at times)

Now coming to the actual stuff!

Clothes

You have to check what the weather is like in the place you’re headed to and then pack accordingly.

Pro-tip: If you can wash your clothes, once or twice where you are staying, then don’t overpack. Count the number of days, and then add the dresses accordingly.

Another pro tip: roll your clothes inside the suitcase and not fold them. This way you will save space and add more stuff to it comfortably.

If you’re going to a wedding and there’s this delicate dress that you want to keep as it is, then place the tissue paper on both sides of the garment, so that it doesn’t come in contact with other pieces.

Keep your shoes in shower caps or small-sized plastic bags to keep things clean.

The Toiletries

A girl just cannot rely on hotel shampoos, moisturizers, body wash or soap for her delicate skin and hair. Well, if you are that girl, then oof, you’re so lucky!

For those of you who can’t, make a list of the most important things, you just cannot bring everything with you.

To make things easy, here’s what you really need:

  • Toothbrush
  • Toilet sized toothpaste (if you cannot use any other)
  • Body soap
  • Shampoo and conditioner (optional)
  • Makeup
  • Towel
  • Moisturizer
  • Razor
  • Medicines (painkillers, anti-allergies, etc.)
  • Lenses/lens solution
  • Tissues
  • Ponies 2 or 3)

Something To Munch On

If you’re taking a bus, then you just cannot miss out on them. Buses in Pakistan don’t have that many interesting things to offer.

  • Some more gum
  • Biscuits

  • Chocolates
  • A sandwich (optional)

The Gadgets

Other than your phone, here’s what you could really need:

  • Camera
