Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients. The dry ingredients include 2 Tbsp besan and ½ Tbsp turmeric powder. Mix the mixture well and then add 2 tablespoons of milk.
Mix all the ingredients properly to make a paste that is consistent to apply the mixture on your face. Keep the paste on your face for at least half an hour. Once the mask is dry, wash it off with lukewarm water. Don’t use soap or face wash after applying the mask.
In order to see a difference, apply this ubtan every day or at least thrice a week.
This ubtan is great and can also be used as a moisturizer.
Soak almonds in a bowl of fresh, warm milk and leave the bowl to rest overnight. In the morning, peel the skin of the almonds and add 1 tbsp of sesame oil, and 1 tbsp of tulsi powder. Now grind it all together to make a thick paste.
Apply the ubtan mask formed, to your face and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. After it dries up, wash your face with warm water.
For excellent results, use this mask at least two times a week to increase the moisture level of your skin.
Take all the dry ingredients in a bowl. The dry ingredients include 1 Tbsp turmeric, 3 Tbsp chickpea flour, 3 Tbsp sandalwood powder and 1 Tbsp oatmeal.
Now once the dry ingredients are mixed together, add 2 Tbsp of ground cucumber and mix again. You will see a mask like mixture formed. Rub it on your face for a good 10 minutes. Massage your face properly and then wash it off with warm water. Mix 1 Tbsp chickpea flour, 1 Tbsp sandalwood powder, 1 Tbsp milk powder and 1 Tbsp turmeric in a small sized bowl.
Now, add 2 Tbsp of honey, 1 Tbsp of lemon juice, and milk to make a paste. Apply the paste on your face and leave it on for about 15 -20 minutes.

The traditional way to prepare ubtan for brides is by using 1 tablespoon wheat flour, 1 tablespoon besan, 1 tablespoon sandalwood powder,1 tablespoon turmeric powder and 2 tablespoon yogurt. Mix and form a paste and apply on the skin for half an hour. Wash with rosewater. The bride will definitely glow like a queen on her big day.
